The First Annual Alumni Game

Texans Fall Baseball season was a great success this year. We entered two teams in the Round Rock Baseball League and despite many rainouts, we played well. The Red team won 5 of their 6 games, which was a great achievement. Our players showed great sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the season, and we are proud of their hard work and dedication.

We ended the Fall with our First Annual Alumni Game, which was a great opportunity for our former players to come back and play the current teams. The Alumni won 5-3, but it was a close game everyone had a great time. Thank you to all of our players, coaches, and supporters for making this season a success.

Fall 2022

Signs of Growth.

We were so blessed to have filled all the spots for our 16u team this past Fall. Texans had 2 teams, Freshmen Black and Freshmen Red, playing up in the Leander area.

We also facilitated a few weeks of FREE Open Practices for players to dust off their skills and meet the new head coach. Great way to give the Texans a try before committing to Spring.

Fall 2021

Finding a new rhythm for Fall

After the founding dads have had all their students graduate, its time for a new generation of homeschool baseball parents to take over. During our transition, Coach Steve Crone passed away.

With nine families stepping up to work together, we were able to keep the dream alive and had a successful Fall with Coach Paco Escamilla and numerous dads helping to make the season happen. We participated in the Triple Play league for game play during the Fall.

2018-2020

Fall was a great opportunity for community.

During those first years of the Texans, a group of homeschool dads worked together to continue to provide opportunities for homeschoolers to play baseball in the greater Austin area.

Coach Steve Crone was the head coach. He signed a group of boys up yearly in the Fall Triple Play league that consisted of a few local select and high school fall teams. This served as a great opportunity for local high school level homeschoolers to come out and see what could be possible for their player.

Opportunities like these continue to provide homeschoolers with inspiration to continue to homeschool through the high school years knowing there are sports opportunities available for their student players.
