Are you passionate about providing opportunities for homeschooled athletes?

Do you have experience managing projects or fundraising events?

We would love to have your help making our dreams for the Texans come to life!

We are preparing to run three teams in the Spring: Freshman, JV & Varsity and there are several leadership roles still to fill. We are excited to announce that Volunteer Coaches, Committee Chairs & Board members will be eligible for a discount on their player's Spring registration.

Volunteer Coaches will work closely with our Athletic Director Brian Reavis, attending meetings twice a month on Sundays as well as being available to manage practices & games.

This committee helps plan upcoming designs for our uniform and fan gear. We also need help managing our physical inventory, monitoring our online store, and delivering purchased items at practices.

As part of our plans for the Spring, we will be designing brand new uniforms. This cost is expected to be $9000. We are also planning to travel to Florida for the Homeschool World Series at a cost of $5000.

We are looking to fundraise $14000 this Fall to cover these 2 large costs for the team. Ideas have been floated to have a homerun derby, host some skills camps for younger baseball players in December, host a community car wash or put on a homeschool dance. We need a Committee Chair to organize these efforts as well as additional help bringing these events to life.

In 2022 the digital world has taken over and content is the key to growth and outreach. One of the newest ways to support our organization is by contributing content to our website & social media. Are you able to submit photos or videos from events? Do you have a blossoming writer or creator in the family? Will you share your content with us, to help our organization grow. A Board Member is needed to fill our VP of Operations role. This would require attendance at monthly board meetings as well as 4-8 hours per week checking in with our various committees via Slack & Asana to accomplish our goals.
